I have never heard an agent say that before.Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01681732058311386672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7265337380795438486.post-69734400731047494562010-11-06T23:29:23.934-07:002010-11-06T23:29:23.934-07:00Hallelujah indeed! And while each draft of a query letter I wrote got more and more compelling, each draft of my synopsis as I tried to make it more interesting just got garbled. Such a relief to know that they don't necessarily have to be gripping. In comics it is supposed to be as short as possible.

A couple pages should be enough to hit all the major plot points.

But I was under the impression it should be a little interesting. Not like you are winking at the agent but not so stiffly proffesional as to put the reader to sleep.Che Gilsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01143475504520189361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7265337380795438486.post-69817793333824491582010-11-06T06:57:07.959-07:002010-11-06T06:57:07.959-07:00Hear me sigh in relief. That's almost as short as the query letter!

But it did inspire me to cut mine down to 632 words =-)

I'm still not 100% on board with the idea of a one page synopsis, but the post is really worth a read.M.J.A.
